The starting point for developing your emotional intelligence is to get an accurate measure of your current levels of emotional intelligence. At Aquila we are qualified and experienced using the BarOn EQ-i which is a well researched self-report measure developed by psychologists over a 20 year period. It has been published in many different languages and was developed with an international and multicultural focus.
Individual Assessment
You will get a reliable and valid measure of your Emotional Intelligence by completing the EQ-i on line and will receive feedback from a competent and certified assessor. You will also get a detailed report outlining your scores in each of the 5 realms and 15 emotional intelligence competencies. Developmental strategies for improving your EQ will be explored in depth with your assessor as well as summarized in your report.
360° Assessment
You can also complete a 360° assessment in order to gather important information on how others rate you and this can be used very effectively in team development. When you compare your own self assessment with those of peers, supervisors, friends and family it can help increase your self-awareness and explore causes of individual, team or organizational effectiveness.
Team Assessment
You can use this in team development. Individual team members complete their own individual EQ-i assessment, as described above, and a group report can be generated from all the results so that a team EQ profile is produced.
Leadership Assessment
If you want to focus specifically on leadership assessment/development in your team we can generate a Leadership Report by integrating the individual scores from an EQ-i assessment into a leadership competency framework. This identifies leadership strengths and developmental opportunities and provides practical strategies for change.
